Mark Grochowski is a photographer, videographer, and editor based in NYC and working everywhere.
He strives to see the beauty and truth in all things. In truth there is the simplicity of essence.
Mark was born in Chicago of Polish immigrants, and has lived in NYC for over 20 years. He studied at ICP and SVA and had the great privilege of working for the iconic Mark Seliger. Prior to finding his true calling in photography, his past lives were in the music industry and advertising as a programmer. He is now living his dream as an artist.
Mark is a storyteller and mischief-maker. He sees every day as an opportunity to create and explore. Color and humor are two vital tools used to reveal the humanity of his subjects. His greatest talent may be his ability to talk to anyone and help them bloom in front of the camera. He looks for what’s interesting rather than what’s perfect.
When not creating still or motion imagery, you can find him with his nose in a book or his feet on a trail.
